LAYTON - Richrd Ponce, the former manager of Layton Fun Center, has been arrested by Davis County Sheriff s deputies while on a routine patrol int he West area. n ONE CHARGE, that of distribution of a controlled substance for value a second degree felony, was filed with the fourth circuit court. Other, more minor charges, are pending. Mr. Ponce was involved last June in a heated controversy with residents and business owners located near the Layton Fun Center. Wendy Schneider and Dawn Barker will collaborate in teaching Polygala with classes being held Monday from 6 p.m. beginning Sept. 30 through Nov. 18. 4-- The format for the dance-ar- t sesclasses w ill include a one-hosion of dance, beginning at 4 p.m. for kindergarten and first grade children, while the second and third grade children begin their one-hosession of art. At 5 p.m. the children will rotate to the other class for the remaining hour. The dance-ar- t classes are related in content and specific themes will be emphasized in both artistic areas; therefore, it is important for the children to attend the complete two-hosession.
