Show DAVIS REFLEX JOURNAL, MARCH 13, 1985 LDS Missionaries Jaycee Women Are Busy KAYSVJLL.E - March is one of the busiest months for the Kaysville Jaycee Women Chapter with the upcoming annual Miss Kaysville-- J ruit Heights Scholarship Pageant to be held Saturday, March 16 at 7 p in. in the Davis High Auditorium. There are 10 girls participating. THE PAGEANT is being chaired . , Sue Major and is sponsored jointly by the Kaysville Jaycee Women, Kaysville City and Fruit Heights City. Ten local merchants have donated money for the scholarship and gifts. Tickets may be purchased from the contestants, Mrs. Major or at the door for $2 for those 12 and up. Children will be admitted free of charge. ON MARCH 15 there will be a dress rehearsal held at Davis High at 6 p.m. The day of the pageant, March 16, there will be a luncheon at the Chateau Reception Center. Those attending must make reservations to Pres. Koroulis or Chairman Major by Wednesday, March 13. -- Elder Kris L. Simmons, son of Mr. and Mrs. LcGrande H. Simmons of 1933 W. Gentile, Layton, has completed service in the Anaheim LDS Mission. th ELDER WRIGHT ELDER EDWARDS Elder Leonard E. J. Wright, son of Jess and Ruth Wright, 326 E. 100 S., Kaysville, has been called to serve in the Argentina Buenos Aires South Mission. THE NEWLY installed president, Douglas Stanger was welcomed and introduced the 1985 Board of Directors. Alice Telford gave an entertain- ing program honoring the past Chamber presidents. Garth and Gereldean Johnson, 17 S. Flint Street, Kaysville. The groom is the son of Nolan O. and Donna Schultz of Ogden. The couple was honored at a wedding breakfast at the Gray Cliff Lodge and a reception that evening at the Enchanted Evening. THE BRIDE wore a gown with a tight bodice, high neckline, full skirt gathered at waistline and leg of mutton sleeves. Her bouquet was made of roses and carnations. Kaylene Jones was matron of honor with Chris Johnson, Cheri Baxter and Joanne Davenport as bridesmaids. They wore full length pink voile dresses with high neckline and short puff sleeves. 1 MOTHERS wore burgundy floor length dresses with long sleeves. Their corsages were of pastel flowers.
