Show WEEKLY REFLEX, DAVIS NEWS JOURNAL, MAY 9, 1984 Mini Conference Slated On Records CHURCH On May 1 , there will be a miniconference on records held at the Farmington Utah LDS Stakehouse at 8 p.m. 1 LDS Missionaries n NOEL Barton, a expert on records research and storage, will kick off the conference with an address on the importance and methods of keeping genealogical records. Following his address there will be three workshops held in the following areas: Record Forms and the correct way to fill out and use them; Research and Preservation of Records; and Personal Histories well-know- Colleen L. (Porter) Lister, daughter of Averille L. and Josie M. Porter of Layton, has been called to serve in the Boise Idaho LDS Mission. PRIOR TO her May 7 departure for the MTC, Colleen will speak at the Layton West Stake Center, 1591 W. 1600 N., Layton on May 13 at 9 a.m. Friends and relatives are invited to meet with the missionary at an open house on May 15 between 9 p.m. at 1884 John Street. Layton. Colleen graduated from Layton High School and seminary in 1980. She has been living in Palm Springs, Calif, for the past three years. Paul Stirling Michelsen, 762 E. N., Kaysville, son of Dean and Pearl Michelsen, has accepted a mission call to serve in the Brazil Sao Paulo North mission.
