He discussed three aspects of citizen tesponsibihty. First, people must be active. Living in a democracy is a prtv ledge e and not a right. We must in the political svstem. Second, citizens should government by obeying the laws and defending the system. Third, a citizen has the responsibility to be informed. Only through knowledge can good decisions be made. The sucking louse is the most common v aricn' in this area, and gets its name from its feeding habit of sucking blood trom the host. Dogs and cats infested with lice are depressed and usually have matted, poorly kept hairtoats. Lice are very contageous to other animals, and if one dog in the household has lice, all dogs m contact with the infected one should lie examined.
