R. BLANCHARD Well, last Tuesday, Feb. 2, at Viessmont High the mighty Dans defeated the Vikings Taylor of the Darts had the game high of 35 points. This was the second time this season the Darts have defeated the Vikings in the final seconds of the game. The game was a back and forth struggle, neither team was able to open up a lead of more than three points after the first quarter. Taylor game, the final was 62-6- Taylor had the game high of 30 points. 58-6- 58-6- ATTENDING the game was BYU head coach Frank Arnold and head coach Jerry Pimm of the University of Utah. The Darts fell Friday night to a strong Woods Cross team. It was the second time that the Darts have lost to Woods Cross. It was a one point ball WHEN YOU mention the word basketball at Davis High the instant reaction is Brian Taylor, and why not? Brian averages 29.4 points per game, the highest average in the state, and so far this year no team has been able to stop him. Brian Taylor isnt the only Dart that can play basketball on the Davis team, Troy Kirk Storey, Kris and Doug Wehrli just to mention a few can really hold their own against any players in the state.
