Hero of this game was Pat Benton who scored the winning bucket with only a couple of seconds remaining in the game. Benton ended the evening with a total of 12 points but it was those last two that was the difference in winning or losing. JORDAN HAD apparently the game when they stole the ball and scored with only seconds left, but Benton put an end to the Beatdiggers dreams. The win left the Darts in second place in the region with a 1 record while Jordan dropped to fourth with a mark. Then in the third the Jordan group pulled away for a three point lead but the Darts came back to win the game in the fourth quarter and after all thats the quarter that counts. At times the Darts lost their composure, but in the end they tightened their belts and got the job done. Maybe having the experience of being in the tight ones, overtime with Judge, was the plus factor that the Darts needed as they seemed more confident than their counter parts.
