Bourne and family, brothers of Curtis. Mrs. Lucile B. Sheffield at- tended the World Wide Seminary and Institute Conference on April 1 and 2 at the LDS Church Office Build- ing in Salt Lake City. It was a special occasion for Mrs. Sheffield to meet and renew cherished friendships. Mr. Mills has lived in Davis County for almost thirty years and is aware of the problems of the communities in Davis County. HE PROPOSES to take a second look at federal agencies and their power. He would prefer that the rights und privileges of government should be invested in the people of the area, rather than in federal or state agencies. . Mr. Mills accomplishments have been many and varied. While working as Councilman and Mayor in Centerville the new city culinary water system was installed. Planning and zoning ordinances were and implemented Improvement Districts established. He served as mayor from 1965 to 1973. HE WAS made Assistant Chairman of the Davis County Council of Governments, a member of the Wasatch Front Regional Council; a member of the Air Pollution Committee, the Chairman of the Land Use and Water Committee and was appointed by the Governor of the State of Utah to the Provo Jordan Parkway Authority. He was later appointed as Assistant Director of the Wasatch Front Regional Council and three months SK49 MANAGEMENT HIS experience has been varied also. He worked as purchasing of Western manager Phosphates, Inc., purchasing agent for Thiokol Corp. in the standard purchasing section. As president of the Ivo D. Mills Agency (a manfac-turer- s representative) he directed the handling of missile and aircraft parts. Mr. Mills is a graduate of management training class Michael R. Alvey, 18, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jefferson S. Mathews of 2541 Golden Ave., and whose wife Karen is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clark Demille of 179 S. Liberty, all of Layton, has been promoted to his present Colls 1 MR. MILLS is an active member of the LDS Church. He has served in a bishopric, on the high council, and is, at present, a High Priest group leader. He served as a missionary to the Northern California Mission. He has always found great satisfaction in teaching in the various auxiliary organizations. Mr. Mills and his wife, the former Geraldine Young, of S5b,'. LMEtO8! Richfield, Utah, and his family live at 735 E. 700 S., Centerville.
