Beverly entered and won chamother in over held Contest Pie Chicago Annual Cherry Baking in Union. the state bakers representing every pion cherry pie Beverly, who is an accomplished cook, used the following recipes in her outstanding cherry pie: Filling For Two Pies 2 tablespoons lemon juice IVz cup sugar tablespoons butter teaspoon salt cup cherry juice cup cornstarch cup cherry juice toHeat in a saucepan the sugar, salt, and one cup juice.
