Show Senior Awards Senior citizens in south Davis County exhibited many of their best handicrafts and art work in the Davis County Fair held Aug. 17-19 at the Lagoon complex. MANY OF the people who attend Golden Years Center as well as others who are senior citizens received many fine awards and ribbons, those listed have all received first place ribbons in their categories. In the china paintings and ceramics were Lois Smith, who also received special awards, Oweda Konold, Lucile Hunter, Wilmas Miller, Inez Anderson, Erma Peterson, Celia Merrell, Edna Nicholls, Wilma Twede and Gladys Nielson. LEDA WALKER, Ruth Burningham, Maudeen Trask, Afton Steed, Arietta Williams. Handwork and home arts first place winners included Ruby Wood, Grade Cook, Eva Robinson, Delia Rose, Velma Giles, Ethel Fluckiger, Glenora Hatch and La Nora Cannon. EVA ROBINSON, Ileen Al-bertson, Al-bertson, Elizabeth Smedley, Thelda.Turner, Ritta Middle-ton, Middle-ton, and Alia Childs. - Grace Robinson, Katherine Findley, Maude Hanson, Nellie McGugin, Louise Gehrum, Edna Vowles, Inez Anderson, Grace Strong, Alice Hepworth and Esther Lockwood. IN THE oil paintings category were Eunice Thornton, Thorn-ton, Marr Campbell, Luella Lundgren, Frank Giles, Velma Vel-ma Giles, J. S. Hendrickson, Meldren Bauman, Mildred Bauman, Elnora Riley and Viola M. Carlson. Home art winners including quilts and afghans were Elvira El-vira Gustaveson, Retta Dal-ton, Dal-ton, Ken Unsworth, Anna Anderson, An-derson, Viola Carlson, Luella Lundgren and Eva Reed. MARVA A. Hansen, Etta Hayward, Rebecca Nielsen, Lucile Knighton, Anoma Jor dan, Alice Johnson, Luella Lund, Betty Barnawitz, Marie Hansen, Ileen Albertson, Kathrine Findley, Lenarda Johnson, Nellie McGugin, Sudney Minnetti, Nell Estes and June Green. Crafts first place winners included Maude Hanson, Marva Hanson, Elnora Riley, Marlin H. Knuteson, Retta Dalton, and for the wall hangings were Eva Bird, Frank Cramer and Ileen Albertson. Al-bertson.
