Show Avery weds Lee in SL Temple Jan Avery and Doug Lee were married June 18 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple by Frank W. Hirschi. The couple was honored at a wedding breakfast at the Lion House, hosted by the groom's parents, pa-rents, Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Lee, 505 E. 550 S., Centerville. A reception recep-tion was held at the Canterbury Reception Re-ception Center hosted by the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Dean Avery, 2290 Carolyn Way, Bountiful. Boun-tiful. The bride wore a white satin gown with appliqued lace on bodice and skirt. She carried a bouquet bou-quet of pink rose buds, white orchids and lillies. Jill Avery was maid of honor with Pam Avery, Julie Lee and Kerri Lee as bridesmaids. They wore dusty rose and white floral silk dresses with white lace collars. They carried a clutch bouquet of white orchid and pink rose buds. The mothers wore dusty rose dresses with white orchid corsages. cor-sages. Gill Warner performed best man duties. DOUG LEE Joy Izatt, Noreen Bean, Joan Lon-ghurst, Lon-ghurst, Laurel Larson, Sharlene Jenson, Gloria Roach, Carol Lee, Tina Lee and Norma Tanner. The bride has attended Bountiful High, Utah State University and the University of Utah. The groom attended Viewmont High and is attending the University of Utah. He filled an LDS Southern California Califor-nia mission. After a honeymoon to Southern California, they are making their home in Salt Lake City. |
