Show Fred K, Brown Fred Kershaw Brown, 78, of 937 E. 700 S., Clearfield, died Friday, Jan. 22, 1988 at his home of cancer. He was born Sept. 22, 1909 in Layton, a son of Norman Frederick Freder-ick and Mary Jane Kershaw Brown. He married Afton Harris June 17, 1933 in Ogden. The marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He was educated in Davis County Coun-ty schools. He had lived in Layton for 22 years and in Clearfield the past 50 years. He was a civil engineer at Hill Air Force Base, retiring after 27 years of service. He was president of the South Clearfield Irrigation Co. for 25 years. He was a member of the Clearfield Clear-field 4th LDS Ward and had served as a High Priest, in the presidency of the Sunday School, and was also active in the welfare planning. He was an avid sportsman, enjoying en-joying hunting, fishing and baseball. base-ball. He also enjoyed gardening. Surviving are his wife of Clearfield, Clear-field, two daughters, Mrs. Kenneth R. (Jennie) Winter, San Antonio, Tex . ; Mrs . Randy (Jacque) Pickett , Fayette, Utah; nine grandchildren. Also surviving are four brothers and two sisters, Daniel K. Brown, Oregon; Willard K. Brown, Clearfield; Clear-field; Charles K. Brown, Michigan; Michi-gan; Ralph K. Brown, Idaho; Mrs. Orson (Annie) Day, Layton; Mrs. Layton (Mildred) Barlow, Salt Lake City.
