Ciearffieid First Ward were all pleased to learn that one of our lovely We Young Ladies, Lisa Adams, has been chosen for Queen of the high school Junior Prom. Her attendant is Heidi Ray, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Larry Ray, who also lives in Clearfield. The Prom will be held at the Clearfield High School on Saturday, April until 9:30 15th, from 7 p.m. Our Laurel Standard night will be held on the 9th of April at our Center Street Chapel. The Mutual Young ladies Regional Basket Ball games will be held April 16, 17, 18 and 19 at the Clinton Stake House. The First Ward Relief Society Birthday dinner was held on the evening of January 20. The tables were beautiful with lovely floral decorations. We can always depend on our Relief Society sisters for a very special dinner with lots of delicious food and this one was unusually good. For entertainment, the ladies presented us with a play, Forever Feminine. The stage was beautiful-tha- nks to our own Jeff Schofield, and each lady and young girl who took part in the play gave a most out drugs work in the treatment a.m. The first ecumenical Easter Sunrise Service in Clearfield, at least in recent portrayal of her part, which almost seemed to have been written especially for her. The lovely solos and trio added a very special touch of music. We would like to thank every one who took part or helped in any way. And thanks, too, to the men who helped with the sound, the lighting and prompting. With out this good help, we could not have managed. Truly, this was a group of very special people who are most dear to our hearts. Our Easter Contata, presented by our Choir, under the able direction of Maurine Sanders, was one of the most beautiful we have ever heard. Each presentation was superb. It is hard to believe that we have so much beautiful talent for singing in our Ward. With Easter at hand we will long remember this lovely musical offering. Did you ever go to a birthday poarty when it was no ones birthday? Well thats what the Young Adults did on standing February 27th. What do you think is meant by unusual collections. Right, a scavenger hunt. Now chasing all over Clearfield looking for clues was easy and getting things Luxurious like a needle a large hairpin, a peanut butter sandwich was a bit taken cut of it and tooth paste in a plastic bag but when we got to pink flowered toilet paper, there was none to be found! One group didn't even make it back until everyone had gone home because they were still looking for pink flowered toilt paper! 1st activity in March was a service project, and wouldnt you know it, only three people showed up. We had a kite making, judging, and flying contest on the 19th of March and with perfect weather. Young Adults is now just every other week and the night that there is no activity, is the Upper Level Disco See you next month and have a nice Easter. h BOSTON FERNS All Ceramic $098 POTS and BASKETS 15 OFF Reg Price POTS 30 OFF Reg.
