She nd her family are new in a ward and new to Utah, re feel confident that they ill love our community and ant to make their home ere in Clearfield. The Primary would like to ay tribute to our wonderful abysitters, (Michelle Weir id Jessie Mills). We, as ficers and teachers and There will be a special hristmas program on Dec. y 5. It is entitled and we invite the arents of our Primary lildren to come and join ith us at Primary on that ay. We guarantee that the lildren will warm your earts and you will go home ith the true Christmas ved. There will be no Relief Society on December 11 or 12 due to this special program. The mutual enjoyed a trip to the Promised Valley Play House on the 14th of November. The Music Man was really an outstanding performance this year. There will be a Stake sponsored New Years Disco dance for the youth at 9 p.m. on the 31st of December. Our Ward reunion was held on the 9th of November. Many of our former members returned to enjoy the evening with us. It was wonderful to enjoy their company again. We were entertained by the mutual play Tall Dark Stranger," a clever melodrama very ably performed by our talented youth. Last week at Sacrament meeting we enjoyed hearing the exciting account of Kirk Cowdins Mission. Truly Kirk must have been one of ririt. our Primary falls on Christ-la- s Day and New Years ay this year. There will be ) Primary on either day, ut well be waiting for all of le children again on missionaries. His account of the people he was able to teach and bring into the church was most exciting. It is wonderful to have Kirk home with us again. We have missed you Kirk, but are glad to know that you have fulfilled such a wonderful mission. Our good Bishop Wright and his wife Ellen spent part of last month away on vacation. We are glad to have them home with us again. Since it is ich a busy time of year, we ant to inform you early ut our Relief Society hristmas Social. It will take ace on Friday, December at 7 p.m. at the play, efreshments will be ser , most The new Clearfield Utah North L.D.S. Stake Center will have an OPEN HOUSE on Tuesday and Wednesday Dec. 11th and 12th, from 7 to 9 p.m. The stake center is located at 75 North 1000 West, Clearfield. The Public is invited to this tour of one of the newest LDS Chapels in Davis County. LDS church buildings are probably the most efficiently enjoyable trip to Texas. They went by way of Fort Collins to Denver, through Salina and Wichita to Denton. Three days of their trip were spent at the Dental Convention. Five more days were spent with their son Vance gnd his family. Vance expects to complete this degree in education in December and will be home to spend Christmas in Clearfield. After their visit with Vance, the Wrights went through West Texas to El Paso and down to Old and effectively utilized buildings in the world today. Its constant use promote the programs of the church. These all start with the basic unit teaching, family training, and implementing the programs outlined for use by the individual wards or units. During the open house small groups will be taken on tours throughout the building giving short explanations of the room Mexico. They continued home through Mesa, Arizona where they attended a session at the Mesa Temple. They enjoyed the beauty of the Temple grounds, the beautiful trees covered with lemons, grapefruit and other uses including local church leadership, genealogy research, youth programs, young childrens activities, mother and homemaker programs and finally the family unit functioning together for the fun and enrichment of each member. Wednesday evening, December 12, 1979, A note about the building: This is the largest building that the church now builds. It is totally carpeted, including the large gymnasium, for better sound deadening and reverence. It also has four large meeting rooms in wings and additional cla of the mammoth caves wondered at the bravery of the first explorers who had to be let down in buckets with only lanterns to light up the huge black caves.
