Market Unsteady. In following the history of the cattle industry we find it runs in cycles of about fifteen years. About seven or eight years up grade in prices, then a decline of about the same period. Of course, there are serious fluctuations, at times, for different causes; but it soon gains its equilibrium, either up or down, and those who have followed the trend of the market predict good prices for the next four or five years. The serious part of it is so many cattlemen have gone broke in the past seven years and have been closed out, but we hope those who have been able to hold on by the skin of their teeth will be able to recuperate at least part of the losses they have sustained.
