The speaker already is on the market, with an international distribution requiring quantity production and straining the capacity of the factory. The speaker is hailed as a real innovation in the radio field, and has courted universal favor in its tests thus far, according to F. Y. Gates, engineer, under whose direction the unit was perfected. Its favor has spread, and as far as South America, where the units are in demand. The Great Western Radio Corporation of Utah is a recently formed concern of prominent Utah business men, and these men have assured Salt Lake that the factory will be permanent in this city. This assurance adds another link to Utahs chain of radio concerns, and in addition promises a permanent firm. Officers of the company include George J.' Cannon, president; George H. Wallace, W. H. Lovesy, secretary treasurer; Elias A. Smith, Hugh Brown and Anton Strebel, additional directors. Mr. Brown is general manager. The laboratories of the corporation are now devoted to several other important radio developments, Mr. Brown announces.
