Show a THE CITIZEN exhibits that will make a most unusual display. In addition to the usual evening dance, there will be a matinee dance from 5 to 7 p. m. The Lagoon Novelty Orchestra, under the direction of Don Kirkham, will play for both the afternoon and evening dances, presenting the latest numbers in their own masterly way. Director It is understood that Kirkham is making a special selection of musical numbers for the evening dance. The five new concessions added this season to the resort, the Merry Mixup, Toboggan Slide, Dinty Moore, Whip and Junior Dodgem, have been very popular, states Manager Christensen, and will be among the attractions for the Fourth. Since the introduction of the Slide at the bathing pool, there has been a large incerase in the number of bathers at the resort. It Is reported that this attraction provides just the right kind of thrills and fun enjoyed by bathers and spectators alike. Fortunately the arsenal housed on armored tank such as was used In the world war and Hines was quick to realize that his only chance for escape lay in the use of this tank, the picture shows Hines tinkering with the motor and after a few moments work the motor picks up. Hines drops into the drivers seat, closes the protecting lid, and, racing the motor at full speed, drives the tank right at the stone arsenal wall and SMASH! SMASS!
