The house, which without extra decoration, is very beautiful, was glorious with white chrysanthemums and pink roses in great profusion. 'A musical program was given by Charles Shepherd. After the ceremony, supper was served and about fifty guests stayed' during the evening to enjoy the dancing. The bride and groom will spend several weeks in California. Upon their return they will make their home in the Belvedere apartments. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Rolapp have taken the Calvin home on East South Friends of Mrs. Thomas Kearns will be glad to hear that she is convalescing after a severe Illness. 4 4 4 Word has been received from California that Mr. and Mrs. Glen McCarthy are now making their home in Burlingame. . 4 4 4 Mrs. Emma Bird returned this week from the east. Cards have been issued by Mrs. Duncan MacVichie for a tea at her home on Saturday to meet Mrs. Kennedy. 4 4 4 News has come from New York that Miss Winifred Walker, daughter of Mrs. Herman Prosser, will soon sail for Europe to spend the winter. 4 4 4 . Mrs. C. C. Crismon gave a Mah-Jong- g party on Wednesday for Mrs. Ray Wyland. 4 4 4 Mrs. William King will leave Sun- day for Washington to join her hus- band, Senator King, who has abroad for several months. been 4 4 ,4 Mr. and Mrs. L. F. Fabian left Wednesday for a two months stay in the east. i Mrs. D. Moore Lindsay has returned 1 dfc to Salt Lake after spending the mer in the northwest. 4 sum- 44 Miss Pearl Savage gave a charming tea at her home Monday afternoon in honor of her sisters, Mrs. Roy Neyland of Casper, Wyoming, and Miss Irene Savage. Mrs. J. T. Dunn and Mrs. F. J. Quayle presided at the tea table. 4 4 .4 With the coming of winter many Salt Lakers have left for the warmer climate of California. Among those to go are Mrs. C. W. Whitley, who is spending the winter in Coronado; Mr. and Mrs. Julian Bamberger, who will probably stay at one of the beaches near Los Angeles; Mrs. L. W. Sowles, who is at present in Pasadena, will probably remain' several months longer owing to the illness of her small son, and 0. J. Salisbury returned Sunday to his home in Pasadena. . 4 4 4 Miss Florence Halloran and her father, W. J. Halloran, are again in town after an extended tour in the east. Miss Halloran participated in several golf tournaments and made a splendid record for herself. 44 4 Mr. and Mrs. Friendly have returned from their wedding trip and are now making their home in Park City. Mrs. Friendly was formerly Miss Car- rie Sappington. 4. 4 4 Visitors from Butte are Mr. and Mrs. Horace Siegel. 4 4 4 Mrs. V. P.
