Galigher, Parley L. Williams and George N. Lawrence to run for mayor and commissioners respectively, it had the whole city to choose from. Those three men were named because they are known to be trustworthy and competent to manage the affairs of the city. Those three men were chosen because their friends know them to be fearless and willing to carry out the American partys platform. Those three men were nominated only after the possible election of each was scrutinized from every possible angle, given the acid test, and found desirable from every view point. Those three men are pledged to effect a reduction of taxation in Salt Lake City at the earliest possible mo inent. That can be accomplished only by a separation of church and city administrations. Those three men did not seek the nominations; they consented to run after carefully considering how well they could serve the city as their friends convinced them of its needs. Vote for these three men, together they will be a majority in the citys government and can accomplish every pledge made in the name of the American party. Their election means a clean, capable city administration. S a A. B.
