You could hear people smacking their lips for miles around. What they didnt serve us wasnt worth asking for. Plenty of barbecued pork, mashed potatoes and brown gravy and all the trimmings that go with them (please dont drool here) and a delicious dessert were served. In the neighborhood of 300 adults and over 150 children attended quite a record if we do say so. After the dinner Friday evening a delightful program was given. Reginald Beales, noted Salt Lake violinist, and the White Chapel quartet gave appropriate numbers. You liked the community singing led by Ebenezer Kirkham too, didnt you? The expression on the faces of the older people while they were singing Mairzy Dotes was killing, but dont tell them. Those under sixteen were served Saturday afternoon and that evening they were admitted free to a moving picture. The ward program was a huge success and we hope there will be more like it in the future. Some flies Never fail to attack you When you cant fight back; Other flies Like flirting with death And they egg you on. What fly Would act the gentleman And let you sulk alone? Any fly, Upon seeing your mood, Will drive you to insanity. You, fly Your luck cannot last Soon I will kill you. fly, fou will never become The ancestor of countless millions.
