Show PAGE 17 stumbled on Grand Canyon about 15 years ago and It changed me forever. For the first time In my life I had something to say with no way to say It. At this point I began to paint and draw. Ever since, my primary Instructors have been earth and sky; Ive picked up some things from a few of my favorite painters, and wasted three months In art school. In the end, Ive found nature will teach you everything you need to know about landscape painting. Ive always cherished the noncompetitive aspect of being a painter. You dont have to audition to do a painting. You dont need to win awards or study In New York. All one needs Is passion and a desire to communicate that passion. 1 -- Bruce Hill t (Bruces work can be seen at Moab Mercantile In the Grand Emporium.) . |
