Show Rawlings Spend Holiday In Cornish Benson Hosts Holiday Guests by Laree Bodily Lewiston Mr. and Mrs. Orson Hawkins invited some of their neighbors and relatives in for dinner on Thursday. Bardo and Wanda Bodily and their children, Ellen and Ted, were hosts on Thanksgiving to her parents, Lloyd and Delva Wheeler, and to Allen and Dolores Wheeler and their girls, Dixie and Patricia, all of Lewiston; Suzanne Pace, a BYU student from New York; Eddie and Sharon Bodily and family, Diane, Jeff and Annette, of Dublin, Calif.; Sue and Dennis Thurgood and children, Brandy, Brad and Kent, Hooper, Utah. Mr. and Mrs. McKay Rawlings and their six children spent Thanksgiving in Cornish where Karla and her mother, Mrs. Ezra (Myrl) a dinner Kendell, for 34 people. Vem Kendell, Logan; Mr. and Mrs. Howard Kendell and their six children, American Falls, Idaho; Mr. and Mrs. Ross Kendell and their four children, Ogden; and Ezra Kendell were all present. Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Rawlings, who were also celebrating their 63rd wedding anniversary, were special guests. Six Vietnamese people were guests also. Cardun Lucy Seamons, daughter of Norma and Russell Seam- ons, was married to Ronald Owen, son of Dorothy and Lester Owen of Preston, Idaho. The ceremony was performed on November 20. A wedding breakfast at the home of the groom's parents was given in honor of the newlyweds and close family members. Ronald is a graduate of Preston High School and is currently employed at cache Valley Dairy. Lucy graduated from Sky View High School and Seminary. They hope to make their home in Logan. Bernice and Howard Johnson had 22 family members home for Thanksgiving dinner. Guests included Lee and D'On Reese, Pat and Kelley; VaLoy and Rick Reese and baby: Mr. and Mrs. Norman Reese and family; Margaret ami Joyner Lofthouse, Craig, (.'lair and Carl; Mr. and Mrs. Paul Johnson, Mr. and Mrs. Randy Johnson and baby. Joannie Reese was hostess at a grocery shower given in honor of Lucy Seamons at Joannie's home on November 19. A social evening was enjoyed by a group of close friends. Annie Ricks and her son, Leo, had Thanksgiving dinner at the home of Annie's daughter and son-in-la- Jessie and Ervin Gustaveson in Logan. Other guests were Mr. and Mrs. Ronnie Gustaveson and young son. Mr. and Mrs. Venice Clark from Clarks ton visited one day last week at the home of Annie and Leo Ricks. Mrs. Sarah Cowley spent three days last week at the home of her daughter, Jessie Currell, in Logan. On Thanksgiving day, Mrs. Currell also had as dinner guests, Duain and Velda and Marlene Cowley, DeAnn and Richard Keller and children. Mrs. Blanch Bench, former member of the ward, and oldest daughter of Annie Ricks, has been visiting at the home of her mother in Benson. Blanch is presently staying at the home of her son, Jerry Bench, in Logan Canyon. She will probably stay in Cache Valley until the first of the new year before returning to her home in Sacramento, California. Mrs. Isabelle Cardon is spending a few days in Orem, Utah, at the home of her daughter and Margaret and Russell Rich. She went to Orem to welcome home a granddaughter, Barbara Rich, who has just returned home after completing a mission for the LDS Church. A Fireside was held in benson Ward Sunday evening for the Young Adults of Hyde Park First Ward and Benson Ward. The speaker was Dave Jones. Refreshments were served. son-in-la- . Lynn and Gail live at Twin Falls, Idaho. They drove to Elko, Nevada, where they met his parents and continued their trip together. The Smiths, who have a military assignment there, have three children, Cory and Holly, and an infant The entire family of Ross and Hazel Gordon had their Thanksgiving dinner at the home of Brent and Mary Gordon. Numbering 30 now, the family is comprised of the parents, Ross and Hazel; Drew and Karen Gordon and their new son, Andrew, of Providence; Lois and Gam Bodily and children, Teresa and Todd, Lewiston; Brent and Mary Gordon and their boys. Spencer, Shane and Shawn, Lewiston; Jody and Ilene Palmer and son, Tyler, Dayton, Idaho; Cathy, Paula and Grant Gordon; Maureen and Carlos Elwood and children, Terrie, Natalie and Robert, of Ogden; Carol and Ken Smith and their family, Derek, Aimee and Heidi, of Boise, Idaho. son. Brent and Grant Gordon left Tuesday for Garnett, Kansas, where they will receive instruction in an El-ois- e. intensive training school concerning veterinary methods. They will be gone for two weeks. Chris and Evonne Jensen and their three young sons were happy to have Evonne's parents, DeVon and Ruth Johnson, and a brother, Kenneth Johnson, and his fiancee, Denise Reed, at their home for Thanksgiving day. Kenneth and Denise are both from Bountiful while Mr. and Mrs. Johnson have just moved from Bountiful to San Francisco. Garold and Doris Layne and their son, Darrell, his wife and family, all of Whitehall, Mont., another son. Steve Layne and his family of Bountiful, were recent weekend visitors of Garold's mother, Mrs. Nora Layne. Nora's granddaughter, Darlene, her husband.
