Show AUGUST THURSDAY, Trenton, Cont. and Twin Falls, visiting friends et route. Pioneers party Thursday night in Logan. Mr. and Mrs. Lew P. Allsop have had several friends and relatives visit them during the past week. A couple from the mission field, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Barrett, son Kent and daughter Terry, spent overnight and one day with them. They came to enter their son at Ricks and their daughter at BYU. Also during the week a nephew, Mr. and Mrs. Steven Jamison of Los Altos, Calif., came, as did Harry Lawson of Seattle, Wn. Mary Keller, whom they met in the mission field has just returned from a mission to England and came up from Salt Lake to visit. Orris Mae Hansen, son Mr. and Mrs. Richard Hansen and family, daughter Mr. and Mrs. Randy Wright and family all attended the F. L. Allen family reunion at Brigham park Monday evening, which was interupted by a bad wind. Peggy Buttars and Jerry Thurston were married Friday evening in Trenton. An open house for them will be held ' later in the month. Peggy is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Vaughan Buttars while Jerry's parents are Mr. and Mrs. Frank Thursday of Hyde Park. Mrs. William V. Connary received a very welcome birthday greeting Sunday from her daughter Edna Mae and husband Richard Bissell of Price, telling her of their first child, a ten pound, seven ounce girl. Mrs. Connary left Tuesday for an extended stay with the Bissells. Mrs. Connary's son, Edward Mills of Kearns, also telephoned his mother on her birthday. Mr. and Mrs. James Shamberg of Blackfoot, Idaho visited his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. William V. Connary on Sunday. Several Trenton people attended the, funeral services for Mary B. Christiansen of . 1 r- Paradise, held Thursday Janice Garner and family of Bountiful came Saturday morning and took her mother, Jo Marie Smith and daughters. Melody, Marilyn and Christi Joy to Pocatello, Idaho to visit another daughter Mrs. Beth Serr. Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Grant entertained her cousin G. Osmond Hyde and his wife of Kensington, Maryland at dinner on Friday. Water Skiing ..Mr. and Mrs. cher and family At ihe sacrament service the family of Mr. and Mrs. Glen Griffin gave the program. Mr. and Mrs. Paul Pear- -' son and baby of Homedale, Idaho were dinner guests of his aunt and uncle Mr. and Mrs. Ervin Merrill, Friday night. Attend Reunion ..Marvin and Bessie Tillot-- 1 sen and daughter, Lesa, Mr. I and Mrs. Jonny Tillotsen and family and Craig and Merrill, attended the Leslie Tripp family reunion at Downata Hot Springs. Miss Benita Tillotsen from Malad, Idaho returned home with the Tillotsens for a week. Boyd and Linda Mon son and family of Kaysville, Utah visited her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Legrand Reeder. Legrand Reader attended the graveside services for his uncle, James Haslam last week. Mr. and Mrs. Roland Mort-enso- n and her sister, Gladys Haws of Logan recently took a trip to Gooding, Idaho and spent overnight. They returned by way of Bliss, Buhl Lu-de- . . ..Lewiston Lions and their ladies met at the Recreation Park on Wednesday evening where they were served a good dinner and enjoyed a songfest. Willard and Elaine Jesop sang with guitar accompani Jeri Kay Belnap, young daughter of Jerry and Mary Kay Belnap recently flew home from California where she had vacationed for two weeks with her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Taylor of Bakersfield. The Taylors had been in Utah earlier and had taken their granddaughter home with them. Jeri Kay had many fun experiences while there and enjoyed her flight home. Her parents, brothers amd sisters met her at the airport in Salt Lake City. ..Dr. and Mrs. Herbert Wheeler of Salt Lake City have been visiting in Lewiston with Dr. Wheelers mother, mrs. Ruby Wheeler. Leland and Irene Weather-ston- e and their five children recently took a four-da- y trip into Idaho where they attended a family reunion at Targhee National Park. They especially enjoyed a visit with Irene's sister, Joy Ericksen. who lives in Rapid City, N.D. Susan Blair Allen and her young son, Michael, have spent the past two months visiting in Lewiston with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Blair, and her husband's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Allen. Her husband, Ellis. Allen, will arrive this weekend for a one week visit. They will then return to their home in Austin, Tex., where Ellis is a computer programmer. Susan. Meanwhile, Christina and Natalie Elwood, and Michael, Jeffery, Richard and Matthew Hall were looked after at the home of their grandparents Lloyd and El-v- a Elwood. John and Olive Bair have been pleased to have their daughter, Margo, her husband and their children vacationing here from Whittier, California. Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Lewiston, and Mr. and Mrs. Orson Wright, Preston, are sharing the honors as grandparents to a new baby. The little boy joined the family unit of Keith and Sally Wright of Richmond, on August 21, at the Logan LDS Hospital. Older brothers, Mike and Allen, ate anxious for the new one to reach the playmate stage. Bo-ma- n, Baby Bora ..Bishop Garr B. Morrison and his wife, Karalee, became the parents of their fourth child, a boy, on August 19 at the Logan LDS Hospital. David, Steven and John are happy about their new brother who will be called Gregory Scott. Grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Willis Hall and Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Morrison. Pres, and Mrs. Rex G. Plowman have reported that they have a new grandchild, a boy, bom to their daughter, -Carol Sue, and her husband, Grant Hanson. The Hansons live at Idaho Falls, Id., and this is their first child. He will be named Robert Curtis Hanson. Mr. and Mrs. Eldon Hanson, Las Cruces, N.M., are also grandparents. Several people who came for this reunion visited with the Howard Taylors. Among them, were Edward and Beulah1 Clayton, an aunt and unde from Denver; another unde, ' Ernest Olsen, his daughter Charlotte, and her daughter Tia, also from Denver; Beu- d. accom- panied by Morma Reeder. Under the leadership of Mr. Jessop and with his guitar also accompanying, the entire group sang many old favorites. Out of town guests were Mr. and Mrs. Sylmar Jessop of Logan. 1974 Willard Pittook a motor boat and went water skiing and boating on Lake Lamont near Preston Thursday evening. Others in the party included Mr. and Mrs. Les Weeks and family of Lewiston, Miss Cherilyn Beck-steaTrenton, Deniece P. Spencer and family of Aurora. Nebraska and Blanch Pitcher, Richmond. A picnic supper was enjoyed also. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Reeder accompanied Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Christensen. Richmond to the Four Winds in Lagan Canyon Tuesday evening for supper. ' Mr. and Mrs. Phillip Mueller and seven children of Rigby, Idaho visited his uncles, Joseph and Hans Miller on Saturday. Mrs. Joseph E. Atkinson gave a family dinner Tuesday. Those present were Dean and Littie Lou Phillips, of Preston, Mrs. Belva Skinner, Logan, Mr. and Mrs. Ross Buttars and son Dennis of Clarkston and Mr. and Mrs. Atkinson. noon at the Hall Mortuary. Mrs. Christiansen is the mother of Mrs. John (Ruby) Ezola of Trenton.
