They were on their way to Salt Lake City to meet their grandson Michael Barrett at the airport, who was returning home after working during the summer in Hawaii. A -- program presented Cub Scout Pack meeting held Friday night in the Lewiston Second Ward featured a physical fitness program which is being promoted on a national basis. The 8, 9 and 10 year old boys competed with others in their own age groups. They participated in standing broad jump, softball and 50 yard throw, push-up- s dash. The 8 year old winner was Neal Chambers, 9 year old was Sean Labrum and 10 year old was Michael Hall. These three boys will com will go to the Cache Valley Council meet in October in Logan. Alternate team members are Darin Belnap, Glenn Labrum and Roger Spack-ma- n. sit-up- s, ribbons 9 year old Michael Hansen and 8 year old Danny Baker. Ribbons were given for each first place and each second place in each age Sportsmanship were presented to Woman named golf champion Carole Fisher dethroned Pat Clark as Smithfields Ladies Club champion in a three-da- y tournament held over the past few weeks. Mrs. Fisher won A flight with a 141. She was followed by Phyllis Toolson who shot a 150. Deanna Davidson won the B flight with a 156 with Darlene Hill second with The C flight was won by Nel Shymak with a 252. 166. League play champions include Mrs. Fisher in the A flight and Mrs. Hill in the B flight, Mrs. Davidson in the C flight and Audrey Skabe-lun- d in the D flight. Today, the Smithfield women will hold a Texas Scrambler to begin at 9 a.m. Women should also sign up for the trip to Sherwood Hills on Sept. 28. Eight year old boys participating were Eric Robinson, Darin Belnap, Neal Chambers, Jeff Hall and Danny Baker. Nine year olds were Mike Hansen, Tony Baird, Todd Baird, Glenn Labrum and Sean Labrum. The voting at such election shall be by ballot, which ballots will be furnished by the Clerk of the Board of Education of Cache County School District to the judges of the election, to be by them furnished to the qualified voters. The polls at each polling place shall be opened at the hour of 7:00 o'clock A.M. and will be kept open until and will be closed at the hour of 8:00 oclock P.M. There is to be no special registration of voters for such election and the official register of voters last made or revised shall constitute the register for such election, except that the ' County Clerk of Cache County will register at his office during regular office hours, except y period immediately Saturdays, Sundays and holidays, and except during the preceding the bond election, any person who on the day of the election will be a qualified elector and will register such person as provided by law. The County Clerk will make available or will cause the registration agents to make available at each of the above described polling places a registration list or copy thereof listing all registered electors entitled to use such polling place.
