Cleo also spent several days in St. George, Utah, where she visited with her daughter, Kathie and her husband Joe Warren. She had accompanied an- other daughter, Jackie of Cedar City from Salt Lake City. Jackie and her husband W1LUA NOBLE, Amalga, ihowi off her talent Mike Leavitt have spent the summer in Salt Lake (Sty and will be there until fall where they are campaigning for Mike's father Dixie Leavitt, who is running for Governor of Utah. Horace and Been Christiansen of Newton are proud grandparents of a granddaughter born to their son Chad and his wife Ellen of Denver, Colorado. She waS also greeted by a brother, Jason, and otha grandparents, Fred and Virginia Gabriel of Denver, Colorado, thta bane's Cook of the Week. -Citizen Photo Special is something Wilds Noble has always enjoyed. It was her favorite subject in school and she said, I thought I had reached the pinnacle of success when I won a $25.00 scholarship to the USAC in a bread making contest during my senior year in high school. Mrs. Noble was widowed at an early age and for a few years made a living as a cook at the USAC cafeteria. She has two sou, Dee Ray Jensen, who is married to the former Irene Bemtaen of Logan. They are the parents of three children and live in Eugene, Ore., and Darwin Jensen, who is married to Florence Roundy of Mendon. They are the parents of six children and live Cooking in Providence, Utah. Wilda also has one little and er numerous children and grandchildren acquired through marriage and whom she also loves very dearly. Mrs. Noble and her husband, Clyde, a retired dairy farmer, live in Amalga. Stone of the things they enjoy doing together are traveling, working in the temple and dancing. She is a part time employe at Roskdleya store in Logan and in her spare time likes to read, crochet and write poetry. . She teaches the cultural refinement lesson in Relief Society and is assistant librarian in the ward. She comes from a family who loves to get together and when they do there is always plenty of good food. HOT WATER CAKE . Interest Bill and and Drue Christiansen of The Special Interest Group of Newton held their Family Home Evening at the home of Mildred Sutherland. The lesson was given by Edna Hanson on articles from the Ensign on the "Life of Heber J. Grant." Also articles from the Readers Digest. This pleasant afternoon was enjoyed by Norma Christensen,- Hazel Rigby, Daisy Larsen, Florence Rigby, Meda Packer, Edna Hansen, SIX WEEKS BRAN MUFFINS Fabricius, Edith Cooley, Mary Rigby and the hostess. Refreshments were served by the hostess. 1 cricket, horse shoes and games for the little children and add soaked bran. Add 4 cups Mix until well blended. Approximately 15 to 25 campers, trailers, tents, etc., stayed overnight Breakfast was served by . members, mostly the youth, enjoyed the July 20 outing at the North Shore of Bear Lake. Some adults attended. The Youth Council asisted. Wednesday evening the 7th Ward held their summer party at the Youth Center and City Park. Visiting was enjoyed by all Eggleston Family Holds Reunion Malibu Lodge in Logan Canyon was the assembling place of the descendants of Walter Moroni and Emma Call Eggleston of Cornish. Out of their 12 children, nine are presently living and they gathered their children and grandchildren together for this first reunion which numbered 110. A family skit acted out by the Fay Eggleston family utilized its 18 members honoring Fay in each aspect of his life.
