Connie, and family. Shawn Stephenson, son of Lennis and Wells Stephenson. was presented at sacrament meeting to receive the Aaronic Priesthood and to be Deacon. Yet, Anna and Gordon still find time to pursue family activities and fun such as snowmobiling, swimming, hiking, and Anna is obviously a real sport; even plays a wicked baseball game. Add: 1 tablespoon orange extract 1 can frozen orange juice ft cup Tang orange food coloring, to desired color Combine ingredients and freeze. Remove from heat and stir in oil. Put all other ingredients together. Add the cooled raisin mixture. Stir until all the flour is combined. Bake at 375 degrees for 20 minutes in a 13 x 9 x 2 inch pan. 1 cups brown sugar tablespoon butter 23 cup milk Cook to 225 degrees. Cool to lukewarm, then add 1 teaspoon vanilla and 2 tablespoons cream. Beat until light brown and thick enough to spread. 2 2 FEATHER ROLLS yeast cakes ft cup warm water 1 tablespoon sugar 2 cup scalded milk cup melted shortening cup sugar 2 teaspoons salt 2 eggs, beaten 4 to 5 cups unsifted flour Mix yeast, warm water and tablespoon sugar and let stand a few minutes. Add shortening, sugar and salt to cooled scalded milk. Then add eggs, yeast mixture and flour. Mix. Mixture will be sticky. Dont knead. Place in fridge overnight. Two hours before ready to use take out of refrigerator and knead well. Roll on floured board. Spread with soft butter. Form into desired 2 shapes. Raise 2 hours. Bake 400 degrees for minutes. Yields 26 rolls. 1 l3 l3 10-1- CHICKEN BARBECUE 2ft pounds ground beef cooked chicken and broth 3 onions ft cup butter 2 tablespoons flour 2 large cans evaporated milk ft teaspoon sage salt and pepper to taste Brown ground beef, sausage and onion, then drain off fat. Dice cooked chicken and add to above ingredients and heat in sauce pan. At present they are serving an extended call as directors of the visitors center at the Los Angeles Temple. They have been staying at Mrs. Arlene Kupfers home. Also visiting at Mrs. Kup-fer- s over the weekend was her sister and family, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Chambers, and her daughter and husband. Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Stayner, all of Idaho Falls. Mrs. E. W. Bingham was delighted to be able to attend the Utah State Fair as a guest of her granddaughter. Mrs. Helen Jones, and her children, Douglas and Roxanne. Mrs. Bingham had entered several articles in the fair and was able to see most of them displayed there. Following her day at the fair she stayed overnight at the Richard E. Jones residence in Ogden and then Mrs. Jones drove her home Thursday. Sunday afternoon visitors at her parents home were Mrs. Beverly Daley and son, Vaughn, of Weston. Mr. and Mrs. Johnny Tillotsen also stopped in that afternoon. Visitors from North Carolina at the Vaughn Spackman residence have been their Mr. daughter and and Mrs. Don (DeAnne) Cottle, and children, Angela, age 5. and Scott, age 2. They ANEFRIN 10'. She was born in Auborn, Wyo., on Sept. 6, 1894. She was the oldest child of William E. Corbridge, later coming to Utah to live. She married W. R. Deppe, Jr. in the Logan Temple on June 17. 1914. He died in 1954. She has been active in every organization in the LDS Church including the Sunday School, Relief Society and president of the Primary in both the Benson and Smithfield Stakes. She sang in the Relief Society Singing Mothers for many years. She is the mother of Mrs. Earle (Mavis) Bodrero of Logan, Mrs. Carl (Bernice) Clawson of Smithfield and Hazen W. Deppe of Taylorsville.
