Smithfield. are happy to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter Cindy to William Earl Fellows, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph R. Feliows. Preston. The couple will be married Thursday. Sept. 5. in the Logan LDS Temple. That evening a garden reception Elna Ot tenson has agreed to share some of her favorite recipes with us this week. She is originally from St. Anthony, Idaho. Her husband, Harry, teaches physics at Utah State University and is bishop of the Smithfield Third Ward. Elna figures that she has her hands full with keeping her husband and six children happy. She says that she doesnt know where all the time goes, but that she considers being a wife and mother a full time job. Her children range in age from 16 years to eight months and she enjoys keeping a detailed history of each child. She also raises a large garden and enjoys cooking for her family. She is the Mother Education Teacher in the Third Ward Relief Society and is. also a visiting teacher. Elina says that she has worked in nearly every organization of the LDS Church. Elna has given us several tecipes to delight children. This recipe for Swedish chokies is one that kids enjoy rolling and cutting out. She plans to graduate in bookkeeping. Miss Marti Baker and Van Stirland were married Friday at the home of her grandparents Edna and H. Cecil Baker, River Heights. He has spent two summers working in Hawaii. The couple will reside in Soda Springs where he is employed and where she will continue her education.
