A sermon was given by Bishop Udell Godfrey on the topic "Every Day Is a Mother's Day. The Junior Sunday School children gave speeches and sang. Very much appreciated were their songs "Mother and "Dearest MoDear ther, I Love You. Eight children gave short talks. Mothers Day worship service at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-da- y Other sermons were presented by Sharlene Bliss, Garth Goodey and Hillard Saints in Clarkston was very much enjoyed by a large congregation of parishioners and visitors alike. It was under the direction of DeMarr Griffiths. Archibald. A LaWanna Wright and Ruth Buttars sang "That Wonderful- Mother of fyline.'' Remarks were giyen by DeMarr Griffiths. In LDS sacrament ser- vices Sunday evening sermons were given by stake high-councilm- en er and Jesse Larry LowGodfrey. Annette Goodey, daughter of Marie and Vernal Goodey, also delivered a sermon in this worship service. Archulius and Dayid Archibald have returned to their home after spending the winter at Scottsdale. Lewiston Mr. and Mrs. Verl Ransom of Ogden, and Mr. and Mrs. Kyle Ransom and their family of Hyde Park, along with Mr. and Mrs. Earl Ransom, visited with their mother, Ethyl Ransom, on Mothers Day. |
