Show West Side News March High School Looking For Rentals. Used Farm Equipment, Check The Classifieds Evaluated By MICIIAEL COX During the past few days at West Side high school, a Northwest Accreditation Eval uation team has been check ing our high school. Some of the members of this eight man team are from the State Department of Education and the rest are principals and members from other schools They are here to evaluate all our classes, activities, and participation in these things They also are checking the teachers' certificates and the classes taught by these teach ers. The third and fourth year seminary students received their pins and guards March 16. The program consisted of g a married panel discussion ana the presentation of the pins and guards. Those on the young married panel were Mr. and Mrs. Reed Rjpplinger, Mr. and Mrs. Alan Ghristensen, Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Taylor and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Phillips. The youth panel consisted of Marvin Reeder, Mary Stevenson, James Fonnesbeck and Helen Henderson. Light refreshments were served at the close of the program. The seminary council is now busily working on graduation which will be held on May 16. Also the council decided THE CITIZEN 28, 1969 1 against a year-en- d trip to Salt Lake City. Instead, the seminary will hold a banquet with the L.D.S.S.A. from USU providing the entertainment. Part of the program will include honoring the old council and announcing the new coun cil for next year. Seven boys have been chosen as candidates eligible to go to Boys State. These boys are Wesley Beutler, James Fonnesbeck, Marvin Reeder, Michael Cox, Gary Beus, Joseph Perry and Robert Smart. One boy will be chosen from these by the American Legion to represent our school at Boys State. Whitehead Family Readies Reunion 5 Words 1. The Whitehead reunion will be held Saturday in Franklin.
