Th County Court met, Dec. 5th. b till board present. A number of claims were considered con-sidered and allowed. The reports of the following supervisors were examined, approved ap-proved and allowed: William Pnakett, Joseph Tracey, Peter L , Anderson, Don (J. McUreary, O. C. Loveland, L. P. Johnson, C. W. Robbing, Dan Walker.- Report of Nels Anderson returned for correction. correc-tion. Judge was authorized to ask for bids for finishing south part of upper room of Court House. The proposition of N. P. Anderson Ander-son tu furnish the count' a man of the roads, was received and accepted. ac-cepted. Adjourned. The Court met again, Monday, Dec. 12. Present, Judge Kirk, Selectmen Baty, Blackburn and Wilcox. Several claims were allowed. The reports of the following named Road Supervisors were approved ap-proved and allowed: M. Games, W. Holt, Nels Anderson. Ander-son. That of Jos. Watkins approved ap-proved with some modifications. Bond of J. A. J. Back man as liquor dealer at Collinston was approved. ap-proved. Report of Alonzo Stookey, Sur- veyor at Tooele Co., upon boundary line purvey between Box Elder and Tooele Counties, was read and referred re-ferred to Judge Kirk as committee oi one to confer with like committee commit-tee from Tooele County, and to examine ex-amine the work as provided in the contract of said surveyor and report re-port upon the work before the close of the year. The bond of the County Collector Collec-tor is fixed at $30,000 for county and $20,000 for Territory. The bond of County Assessor is fixed at $25,000. j Tlio bond of County Treasurer fixed at $27,000 for county funds and $10,000 for school funds. A. J. Crospcy, of Ogden, asked that tho $20 deposited for lease ol school land be refunded, ns ho had concluded not to lease any part of Sec. 16, T.7, N. R. 2 W. Amount ordered remitted. |
