Show WEN HUSSELL miss iss grace marguerite sabin and martin mar tin russell ensign cornell graduates were married at 3 christmas christinas afternoon at the home of the brides parents mr and mrs 0 L sabin the ceremony was solemnized by rev G M whittemore raster of the baptist church atho he performed pert ormed a like ceremony tor for the brides parents twenty eight years ago this being their anniversary the brides mother wore her wedding gown 0 of brown satin which has remained unaltered all these years the bride wore cream chiffon with skirt of old lace over pale pink satin she carried a bouquet of whito white bridal roses the house decorations were red and green A bank of ferns and lowers flowers carrying out a beautiful red and gre green en color scheme was formed across one corner of the parlor in front of 0 wit which I 1 ch tile the bridal party stood during the ceremony the bride and groom were attended by miss pearl warn cornell 17 as maid of honor and mr or of st louis mo instructor of rom cornell as best beet man miss gertrude bower of elmira played the wedding march six members of the senior class or ol cornell acid as bridesmaids viz misses maude van atta edna sutton ithaca N Y hazel stokoe rochester cl N Y mary stevens oswego N Y alice van scoy candor N Y the maid of honor wore pale green taffeta and the brides maids were dressed in white master robert jennings ot of ithaca acted as ring bearer while little ruby jennings was flower girl the bride Is one of spencers most accomplished young ladles ladies a graduate of the class of 1911 of spencer high school and finishes her course at cornell this year probably doing what no other girl has ever done working much of her way through the college she has been selected by the home economics department ot of the college to give various demonstrations st last tall fall she was at the head of the cornell dining department at the state fair and conducted it very successfully mr ensign who Is a graduate of the state college of utah takes ills advanced degree from cornell in evrit crap intel at berkeley cal after congratulations a luncheon was served the presents were numerous and useful consisting of cut glass silver electrical i appliances and a considerable amount or of cash mr and mrs ensign left by automobile amid a shower of rose petals tor cor a short wedding trip they will be at leonle at COS edgewood place after jan 2 spencery N Y needle mr ensign is the son of mr air and mrs f rs ill L ensign of this city and a M member ember of the high school faculty on leave of absence |
