They appear to be of the most ravenous kind, devouring everything before them and never satisfied. One block in particular has been nearly stripped of its leaves and smaller brandies, if keeps one man busy cutting o ft the branches and carying tliem to the 'Relief Society building where four young. ladies are also kept busy stripping off th leaves and feeding them to the wortnl which are kept in racks inside the building. The worms in- question are silk worms which are being raised and cared for under the supervision of the ladies of the Relief society. The worms started to hatch out about three weeks ago and in another week most of them will begin spinning The hatching process has been on continuously, going though, so there are worms of every age and condition. The Relief society lias a fine mulberry grove in the ward and the members are taking considerable interest in this years experiment.
