How can we calr upon our love of country to spur ourselves on to those deeds which enable us to maintain our liberty and the liberty of all freedom loving men when we degrade the man who led our nation to freedom and independence by abolishing his holiday which was set aside to inspire us to preserve that freedom from tyranny which he had so clearly won? 1 When will our school authorities see that the expediency of permitting the students a holiday to j search out the buck in order that they might not lose payments of state monies under the Uniform School Act is but a mockery of the very job of providing and administering the education of our youth land a tacit acknowledgement that to is preferable discipline, and those sterner virtues from which our nation drew its greatness and for the luck of which our nation shall lose that greatness in the eyes of the world? l, What men are there among you who are concerned about when we shall bury the Communists?
