A grandson, Dr. Robert Sweeten, Salt Lake City, sang several numbers. Mrs. Hazel Howard presented a tribute to Charles Howard, her brother-in-law- , who now resides in Pie, Ariz., and will be celebrating his 81st birthday anniversary on Saturday, May 31. It was noted that other of the Dewey family in attendance were Mrs. Susan Hansen, Deweyville; Mrs. Will Howard, American Falls, Idaho, and Mrs. John Howard, Ogden. Those coming greatest distances for the reunion besides the Howards, were Mr. and Mrs. Ray Dewey and father, John A., of Emmett, Idaho; Dr. and Mrs. H. Asa Dewey, Richfield, Utah: Mrs. Mamie D. Miller and brother, Horace Dewey, and Mrs. Sessions, Afton, Wyo. Many from Salt Lake City, Ogden, Brigham City, Tremonton and Bear River City were present. Lesson on Poems by Pioneers was given by Mrs. Lucy Johnson followed by a sketch of the life of her father, Thomas Wheatley Jr., by Mrs. Bergstrom. Closing prayer was offered by Mrs. Norma Eastley. Hear Travelogue Mrs. Chloe N. Petersen and Mrs. Violet Jensen gave a most interesting report on their trip to the New Zealand temple dedication. They showed beautiful of their journey slides and points of interest. The travelogue was presented at regular May meeting of the Seagull Camp Daughters of Utah Pioneers held May 22 at the home of Mrs. Lola Oman. Mrs. Lorene B Smith conducted with opening prayer by Mrs. Louie B. Call. For The Strength of The Hills was sung by the group followed by lesson on poetry of the pioneers by Mrs. Stella Y. Phillips. Mrs. Laura Zundel read a beautiful poem and Mrs. Barbara entertained Armstrong with a piano selection. Following the trip report by Mrs. Petersen and Mrs. Jensen, refreshments were served by Mrs. Oman and Mrs. Smith. Mrs. Agnes Stander offered the benediction.
