Sherratt son of Mr. and Mrs. Lowell Sherratt Sr. of Honeyville, has been named program and activities counselor at Utah State university and will assume advisory duties with the Union Building committees and other student groups on campus. Sherratt will be adviser to the Inter Fraternity council and on all student assemblies in addition to his work with Student Union committees at the university. Sherratt holds a masters degree in education administration from Utah State. He recently was released from the air force where he served as senior training officer and commander of a basic training squadron at Lackland Air Force Base in Texas and adviser for air force films at Orlando AFB, Fla. While attending USU and the College of Southern Utah, he served as head cheer leader. He was elcted a Buzzer personality during his under graduate days at USU. He was also a member of the yearbook staff. Promontory Family Is Back From Summer Trip Mr. and Mrs. Duane L. Wells The Brigham City travelers continued on to Kentucky to visit friends and relatives. Mr. Hopkins had a most enjoyable old acquaintime renewing tances. Before returning home they attended the Hopkins family reunion in Marion, Ind. This is the third time in the past five years that they have attended the reunion. Prior to that time, Mr. Hopkins had not been East visiting with his folks since coming West 50 years ago. Enroute home they stopped at Laramie, Wyo., and visited with Mr. and Mrs. J. Edwin Baird and family. The Baird family extended their best wishes and a hearty hello to their Brigham City acquaintances. Talent show and Around the Block parade activities have been enjoyed by members of the Sixth ward Primary. Many parents of the children joined in with the summer fun. President Margaret Anderson was in charge. The family was especially pleased with their visit to the Idaho Falls temple. They toured the park, Jackson Hole country, drove over the Tetons and saw the recently completed Palisades Dam. In Star Valley they visited with Mrs. Wells brother, Chester Stokes, and his family. Southern California. Dr. Reeder attended the Pacific Coast Dental conference at San Diego. Convention sessions were confined to morning sessions and the family enjoyed the sights during the afternoon hours.
