'They had to come from behind to win the coveted title, after they faltered in the fourth ffame to let three Tigers score. They evened it up in the last of the fifth by duplicating this feat and put on the clincher in the seventh inning which resulted in victory for the local high school team. Hal Reeder went the route and kept the strong Ogden team well under control except for the eventful fourth Inning when two hits coupled with two passed balls gave the host team the scoring advantage. He allowed only seven hits during the game. ig Ken Hunt had more trouble with the Bee batsmen, lead by Billy Jensen who bit three for four, one of them a triple. Keyes hit two for four including a triple and Poulson slammed out a double before he was tired when his Injured knee started 'bothering him. Reeder and Nielsen each had two for four batting records.
