Show i I Invite Golfers Smillis Market, Browns Shoe To Idaho Course Teams Win in Senior Division Members of the Brigham City Golf club, both men and women, have been invited to the Pocatello Golf and Country club this Sunday for 18 holes of play and a dutch lunch, according to Dean Candland. Local golfers who make the trip to the Idaho community will play at the new Pocatello club which was constructed during the past winter. Reservations for the Sunday affair Should be made with Dean Candland at the local club before Friday, July 23. Player of the Week n Has No-Hi- t, Pitching Performance Senior Division Division leading nine, Smiths Market, defeated Breitenbekers 9 to 2, last Friday at Rees park as the Browns Shoe team poured it on in knocking Thompsons Hardware team for a 16 to 5 loss on the same day. Herbert Molenaar, Lanky pitcher for Browns, was named player of the week as a result of hurling his team to the victory as well as hitting three for four, including a home run. Hailing also had a good day at bat with three hits including a homer. Molenaar, Hailing and Reeves added stolen bases to their credit in the win over Thompsons. Allowing only three hits, David Cottle hurled the Smith Market team to their 9 to 2 win in a game over Breitenbekers featuring the three for three hitting of Charles Claybaugh. One of Claybaughs bingles was good for two bases.
