In Rabies Immunization Project There Little Valley, Utah Is a hustling new chmmumty in the 'state located on the western side of Promontory Point It came into existence in March, 1956, when the awarding of a $45 million contract to the Morrison-Knud-seCompany, Inc, for construction of Southern Pacifics deep-watfill on the Great Sait Lake Slated to be in existence for the next two years, it has become home for some 600 workmen on thejr efforts. Many of the 2000 residents are comparatively new arrivals to Utah, having been employed by Morrison-Knudse- n Company in some of their other farflung Jobs. THE TALE OF 3 BEARS Group Holds Awards Dinner The Utah State Archery Association held its annual awards banquet at the Tropical Restaurant In Brigham City, Saturday night, with more than 60 members in attendance from across the state. The affair was presided over by Dale Madsen, president of the local Bird Haven Bowmen club and state tournament chairman. Leonard Madsen of Provo was named outstanding archer of the year. Local archers receiving the awards were Dee Jeppson, state flight champion and national class flight champion, and Sterling Jensen, state broad head flight and hunting bow flight champion and third national class flight. Others named for awards were Gerald Gunderson, Salt Lake City, state field and target champion, instinctive; and Bill Garrison, Salt Lake City, state free-styl- e target champion.
