She immigrated to the United States with her parents while a young girl. They settled in Mantua and later moved to Star Wyo SHE WAS married to Lars J. Hailing on Oct. 22, 1890 at Logan They made their home at Star Valley for 40 years where they owned and operated a dairy ranch. They came to Brigham City in 1935 where she has since resided until three years ago when she moved to Gridley. Mr Hailing passed away in 1941 Mrs Hailing had taken an active part in civic afairs and was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-da- y Saints, having served in various capacities. SURVIVORS include a daughter, Mrs. Signe F. Johnson, Oakland, Calif.; two brothers and a sister, Joseph Thomsen, San Bernardino, Calif.; Mrs Caroline Hepworth and John C. Thomsen, Gridley, Calif.
