Play Saturday Lo cal teams Brigham Citys 70 A and 120 pound Little League football teams are headed for bowl games this Saturday at Logan. The 70 A team wrapped up its season with a win last Saturday and will play at 10 a.m. at Romney stadium. The team, undefeated with last Saturdays victory, plays at 2:30 p.m. at the stad120 ium. Goldsberry passing to Danny Taylor and Whitlock kept Roys defense working hard to keep B.C. from making a TD Offensive players blocked well and worked hard. Grenda, Taylor, R. Nelson, Tuft, Law, Braithwaite, B. Nelson, Syder, Romer, J. Valentine, Kallmeyer and Goldsberry played hard to hold scoreless. All of the players helped both on offense and defense. Highlight of the game was Goldsberrys interception. Put One Together No. 1 team finally put 70 C middle with Shorland Juber for 35 yard pass play. South Ogdens only real threat came just before the half as they made it to the one foot line, but were called back for clipping. The halftime score a was 13-- Brigham started the second half with a bang, as Tyler Stokes intercepted a pass and ran it back 25 yards. Robbie Carver then rushed 28 yards for the touchdown. South Ogdens offensive drive ended when Hall recovered a fumble and the Brigham bunch quickly turned it to profit with another Adams to Hall pass. Outstanding defensive play was turned in by Bemus, Udy, Rich ards, Coleman, Harper, Juber, Cosgrove, Williams, Nickerson, Liljenquist and Jensen. Both quarterbacks, Nickerson and Adams showed excellent ball handling and backs Hall, Olsen, Goldsberry and Carver all had good yardage. It was a great way for 85 As to end a good season.
