WE URGE EACH VOTER TO CONSIDER THESE POINTS: 1 . The Wasatch Division wage scale ranks high among the best in the state 2. The supplementary benefits program is excellent. 3. Company management strives constantly to improve working conditions and to eliminate unsatisfactory situations. 4. Union organizers promise no strikes, or that strikes, if any, will be relatively unimportant. These promises cost union leaders nothing. The A wise man once said: working man pays! Risk little on the opinion of men who have nothing to lose 5. A union cannot guarantee to raise wages or obtain more economic benefits. A union can only try to do this. 6. Two-thir- ds Ml ll of the monthly dues will go out of the state to International Headquarters. 7. Working under the tight provisions of a labor contract will be disappointing to those who believe that a contract is the answer to all ills. and Thiokol have much to lose in this election. The union has nothing to lose. The longest odds in the world are against getting even. It will take not less than three years for workers to make up their losses in the last major strike in the Salt Lake area. Common sense and good nature can work out many problems when employers and employees are willing to try. Thiokol Chemical Corporation is aways willing to try.
