Bryan has a nation-wide following which is not limited to the Democratic Dem-ocratic party and which by no means can be ignored. The returns re-turns from the coming November Novem-ber election will be studied carefully, care-fully, for they will act as straws which will show which way the political wind is blowing. In Arizona the Democrats chose former Governor Gover-nor Hunt to run against Governor Gover-nor Campbell for the governorship, governor-ship, Senator Ashton, Democrat, is up for re-election, he will be opposed by J. H. McClintock, Republican. Re-publican. In Georgia the Democrats Demo-crats at the primary gave their preference to Clifford Walker for governor, against Gov. Hard-wick, Hard-wick, two years ago Hardwick defeated Walker for the same office. of-fice. Two women Mrs. Viola Napier and Miss Bessie Kemp-ton Kemp-ton will be sent to the Georgia legislature and will try their hand at making laws. In Texas ' the Klu Kux Klan issue has split . the Democratic party, the independent inde-pendent Democrats have put up G. E. Peddy to run for senator against E. B.
