Show Bingham Goes Into Tie for Loop Lead of Football League As a result of a hard fought contest con-test at Magna with the Cyrus school, last Thursday, the Bingham high school football team went into a tie with Grantsville and Tooele for the loop leadership. 1 The score was 12 to 6. The game opened with Bingham kicking to Cyprus, but on the second play Contratto intercepted a pass and STcMullin's team took possession. After an exchange of punts between Smith and Cahoon, Bingham started on the 60 yard line by smashing thru the light Cyprus line. On the third play, Contratto ran around the right end for a touchdown. Adams failed to kick. In the second period Cyprus gained considerable ground and had the ball on Bingham's three yard line when the whistle blew. During the third quarter the ball hovered around the center of the field until Cahoon sent a long pass to Puzzey, who sent the ball over the goal line. Cahoon failed to kick. In the last quarter the Miners took a spurt and after a few minutes of play, criss-cross passing sent the ball to Tedesco, who scored the final touchdown.
