Show PLANS READIED FOR SUMMER FESTIVALS FES-TIVALS U OF U "Annie, get your gun!" That's the cry as rehearsals get underway on the University of Utah's I960 Summer Festival. "Annie Get Your Gun" will be the Broadway musical portion of the annual festival, which by now is a traditional July activity in Utah. The curtain will rise on "Annie" July I and the show will play nightly in the U. of U. Stadium Bowl through July 9, with the exception ex-ception of Sunday, July 3. With only a few days of rest, the actors will be back on the boards to please the audiences with the popular opera, "Die Fledermaus," which will have performances July 12 through 16, inclusive. Five of the nation's top singing stars will have lead roles in the two productions: Betty Jane Watson and Jack Irwin in "Annie Get Your Gun" and Beverly Bower, Ernest McChesney and CIaire Alexander in "Die Fledermaus." Prominent Utah singers will have strong supporting sup-porting roles. A 28-voice chorus and the University Theatre Ballet will be featured in product on numbers. num-bers. In the event' 13-year history, it has become an important tourist and vacation attraction.
