Show Y G. THOMAS DIES IN IDAHO MONDAY NIGHT Funeral services for William G. Thomas, 83, resident of Bingham Canyon for 52 years, before moving mov-ing to Rupert, Idaho, a short time ago, were held yesterday (Thursday) (Thurs-day) at 2:00 p.m. at Walk Mortuary Mortu-ary Chapel in Rupert with Rev. Raymond A. Thompson officiating. Mr. Thomas passed away Monday Mon-day evening, June 20, at Minidoka County Hospital at Rupert of causes caus-es incident to age. He was born November 19, 1876, in Plymouth, Pa., to John and Mary Mancarro Thomas. He was married to Clara Trevarthen of Florence, Wis.. July 9. 1902. They lived at Great Falls, Mont., for a few years before moving to Bingham Canyon where Mr. Thomas Tho-mas wa a mining mechanic with the United States Smelting Refining and Mining Company. He was a resident of Rupert for only IVi months, having just recently moved mov-ed there with hie wife. A member of the Methodist Church, ho was also a 32nd Degree Mason and belonged be-longed to Canyon Lodge No. 13, F. and A. M., of Bingham Canyon. Surviving him are his widow,' Rupert, and three grandsons. Two sons preceded him in death. Interment was in Rupert Cemetery. Ceme-tery. Several carloads of Bingham friends traveled to Rupert for the services. |
