MUHAR Requiem high mass was celebrated cele-brated Tuesday, May 31, at 10 a.m. in Church of the Immaculate Immacu-late Conception at Copperton for Ronald Bernard Muhar, 17, of 90 West Park, Copperton, who passed pass-ed away Friday, May 27, at 2:40 p.m. in a Salt Lake hospital after a lingering illness. Rev. Francis B. Pellegrino was the celebrant. Holy Rosary was recited Monday Mon-day night at Murray by the Rev. M. Eugene Strittmatter. A son of Murk and Pauline Golesh Muhar, he was born June 1? 19.17 in Rinirham Canvnn. He was a member of the Catholic Church. He was a 1955 graduate of Bingham High School where he was a member of the Prospectors Pros-pectors Club. Surviving him are his parents, Copperton; a brother, Edward j Muhar stationed with the U. . Air Force in San Antonio, Tex., and one grandparent, Martin Muhar. Interment was in Murray city cemetery. Sermon and graveside services were conducted by Rev. Pellegrino. ALFRED A. GOFF Funeral services for Alfred A. J Golf, 68, of 145 So. Grant St., Midvale, former resident of Bing-1 ham Canyon for many years, who died Saturday evening, May 28, in a Salt Lake hospital of a heart ailment, were held Wednesday, June 1, at Midvale Fourth Ward at 1 p.m. under direction of Goff Mortuary. Mr. Goff was born October 17, 1885, in Miners ville, Utah, a son of James and Margaret Clayton Goff. He was married to Suzanna Jones April 1908. She died in February 1918. He was married to Margaret Bullock December 24, 1920, in Salt Lake City. The family lived in Bingham Canyon for 28 years prior to moving mo-ving to Midvale. He was employed employ-ed as a machinist by Kennecott Copper Corp. for the past 31 years. He was a member of the LDS church and of the AoF. of L. Machinists Local. He was past president of Fraternal Order of Eagles, Aerie No. 659 of Bingham Bing-ham and a past state president of the F.O.E. He is survived by his widow, Midvale; three sons, Darwin R., San Leandro, Calif.; Kimball B. (Kim), Bingham Canyon; James E. (Gene), Midvale, and eight grandchildren. Interment was in Memorial Gardens of the Valley. |
