Show MOTHER OF LOCAL I RESIDENT DIES j Funeral services for Mrs. Evelyn Eve-lyn Allen Jensen, 49, 90 N. Grant street, Midvale, who died Saturday Satur-day at 7:45 p.m. in a Salt Lake hospital of complications following fol-lowing a major operation, were held Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the Midvale First ward LDS chapel by Bishop Reed Beckstead. A daughter of Andrew W. and Tena Peterson Allen, she was born January 7, 1898 in Draper, where she lived the early part of her life. For the past three years Mrs. Jensen lived in Midvale and prior to that time resided for 16 years in Copperton. Married July 12, 1917 to George A. Jensen in Logan LDS temple she was active in the Relief Society So-ciety of Midvale First ward as a member of the Singing Mothers-Surviving Mothers-Surviving besides her husband are the following sons and daughters: dau-ghters: Gordon Jensen, Bingham Canyon; Mrs. Maurine Gleason, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Thelma Beck and Miss Marilyn Jensen, both of Midvale; three sisters, Mrs. A. L. Anderberg, Springfield, Spring-field, Ore.; Mrs. Henry Ballard and Mrs. J. R. Soper, both of Draper and four grandchildren. |
