A seven-pound 14-ounce son born to Mr. and Mrs. John Nichols Nich-ols of 187 Main street arrived September 8 at Bingham hospital. The mother is the former Miss Lucille Osmond '. Congratulations go to Mr. and Mrs. Edward Anderson of 586 Main street on the arrival of a son at Bingham hospital September Septem-ber 8. Mr. and Mrs. Max Romero of 550 Dinkeyville are rejoicing at the arrival of a daughter at the Bingham hospital September 6. O Mr. and Mrs. John T. West yesterday morning i received a postcard from their son, Pfc Lawrence Law-rence Edward West, who is held prisoner by .the Japanese government govern-ment in Philippine military camp No. 2. Japanese characters are on the address side of the card and the reverse is a printed form which had been filled in to read: "I am interned in Philippine military mili-tary prison camp No. 2. My health is good. I am uninjured. I am well. Give my best regards to everybody concerned." It was signed in Edward's own handwriting. hand-writing. Friends who would l'ke to write Pfc West may secure hi3 address from his parents. The messages are transmitted through the International Red Cross. ' |
