The home of Mrs. Clarence Johnson was scene of the party and Mrs. Frank Zaccaria was cohostess. "Bride" was chosen entertainment entertain-ment with prizes being won by Mrs. Joe Jones, Mrs. T. J. Hurley Hur-ley and Miss Mary Panas receiving receiv-ing house prize. Others present, besides the honor guest, were Mrs. Gates Christensen, . Miss Gray, Miss Annie Speros, Mrs. Mike Zampos, Miss Georgia Dros-sos, Dros-sos, Miss Helen Georgelas, Miss Connie Brown, Mrs. Robert Jim-as, Jim-as, Mrs. R. G. Steele, Mrs. R. L. Cunliffe, Miss Kay Braun, Miss Lorraine Caulfield, Miss Stella Anagnostakis, and from Salt Lake City Mrs. William Meikle, Mrs. Gordon Dorius and Mrs. Ed Garrett. Gar-rett. A red, white and blue color scheme was used for the supper served late in the evening. Miss Praggastis will recite her wedding vows with Lieutenant (junior grade) Nicholas Louis Strike .stationed in Seattle, at the Hellenic Orthodox church in Salt Lake City October 29. Other parties this week in honor of the bride-elect included includ-ed a luncheon given by Mrs. Chris Athas of Salt Lake City at the Hotel Utah the afternoon of October 17. Tuesday Mrs. George N. Strike of Holladay entertained entertain-ed for Miss Praggastis and a group of young friends. Thursday Thurs-day Mr. and Sirs. Strike were hosts at a dinner for relatives of Miss Praggastis and her fiance. This evening (Friday) Miss Sophie Soph-ie Zeese will entertain at a personal per-sonal shower for Miss Praggastis at the Zeese home at 734 South 13 East, Salt Lake City. |
