Show Miss Alida Thomas Plans Wedding Announcement of the betrothal of Miss Dorothy Alida Thomas and Dr. Vyrle D. Stauffer of Fort Collins, Colo., was made Saturday Sat-urday at a delightful luncheon at the home of the bride-to-be's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Bert Thomas Thom-as of Lark. The marriage will be solemnized solem-nized at Foil Collins July 11. Mr. and Mrs. Thomas and their daughter dau-ghter will leave next week to make arrangements for this ceremony cere-mony at Fort Collins, where the voung couple will make"- their home. Miss Thomas is a former student stu-dent of the Utah State Agricultural Agricul-tural college where she was a member of Theta Upsilon and Spurs, national honorary service society. She has made her. home at 130 First avenue, Salt Lake City, and she has been em; ployed by General -Motors. Her fiance, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Ivery Stauffer of 22 Stauf-.' Stauf-.' fer lane. Salt Lake City, is a graduate grad-uate of Colorado state college, where he is a member of the faculty. fac-ulty. A former USAC-. student, Dr. Stauffer is affiliated with Phi Kappa Phi, national honorary Bcholastic society, Alpha Psi, national na-tional veterinary fraternity, and Beta Xi. Twelve guests attended the' announcement an-nouncement luncheon. Gardenias at each place held the little printed print-ed cards which , told bf the betrothal. be-trothal.
