Show GEORGE BIHLER, BINGHAM UP&L CO. MANAGER DIES Funeral services for George Bihler, 52, of 304 Main street, Bingham, district representative of the Utah Power & Light company com-pany will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday Sat-urday at Copperton grade school. Bingham mortuary is in charge of funeral arrangements. Mr. Bihler died at 4 a.m. Wednesday at Bingham hospital of coronary occlusion after an illness of one week. An employee of UP&L Co. the past 30 years, Mr. Bihler had lived in Bingham since 1923. lie was immediate past president of the Bingham Lions club; a member mem-ber of Canyon lodge No. 13. F. & A. M., and a thirty-second degree de-gree Mason; an honorary member mem-ber of Bingham volunteer firemen, fire-men, he joined the No. 2 fire company in 1928 and was an active ac-tive member eight years; a member mem-ber of the Utah State Firemen's association; a former commander command-er of Bingham post No. 30, American Am-erican Legion. y 1 1, - MiS Z For nine years Mr. Bihler took sole charge of raising funds for the boys' summer playground at Copperton. A son of John Adam and Bertha Ber-tha Braun Bihler, Mr. Bihler was born April 28, 1890, at Carlton, Carl-ton, Neb. He attended school in Ogden and then moved to Idaho. He married Miss Hazel Call at Grace, Idaho, in August, 1913. His wife died in 1935. Surviving are seven sisters, Mrs. William Lautenschlager, Carlton, Neb.; Miss Ann Bihler, Fresno, Cal.; Miss Martha Bihler, Berkeley, Cal.; Miss Mary Bihler, Seattle, Wash.; Miss Wilma Bihler, Bihl-er, Oakland, Cal.; Mrs. E. F. Young, Junction City, Ore.; and Mrs. A. A. Read, Morro Bay, Cal; three brothers, John Bihler, Ogden; Og-den; Walter Bihler, Del Paso, Cal.; Charles Bihler, Orlando, CaL Friends may call at 304 Main street Friday evening, or before 10:30 a.m. Saturday. Burial wul be in North Ogden cemetery. |
